Rhotia Valley Tented Lodge

The Tented Lodge offers intimate charm and personal service with only fifteen en-suite tented safari houses.

We are located on top of a hill in the Northern Safari Circuit of Tanzania an authentic African rural area, in Rhotia, near Karatu, just on the boundary of Ngorongoro Crater and not far from Lake Manyara National Park, and Tarangire and Serengeti National Parks.

The lodge is built in a traditional African style with indigenous hardwood. It is in complete harmony with its surroundings. Its spacious set up, and its finishing touches, such as cosy sofas around the fireplace and warm decorative details, provide a perfectly balanced luxury.

The lodge offers a breathtaking view of the Ngorongoro forest, nearby villages and the terraced fields of the local farmers.
Due to the high altitude there are no mosquitos.
