During your visit to Tarangire and Ngorongoro Crater, tourists can expect to encounter stunning wildlife and breathtaking landscapes. Tarangire National Park and Ngorongoro Crater are both iconic destinations in Tanzania’s northern circuit. Tarangire is known for its baobab-dotted landscapes and large concentrations of wildlife, particularly during the dry season when animals gather around the Tarangire River.
On the other hand, the Ngorongoro Crater offers a unique and breathtaking setting with its collapsed volcanic caldera. After breakfast at your hotel, you will start your drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park, the drive will take approximately two hours. Once you arrive at Tarangire National Park, you will start your game drive through the stunning landscape, which is dotted with unique ancient baobab trees and swaying savannah grassland. On your journey, you will also have a chance to spot a wide variety of wild animals. After a thrilling morning of exploring Tarangire National Park, you will break for a delicious picnic lunch at a designated picnic site. In the afternoon you will continue with your game drive through the park, searching for more amazing wildlife sightings. As the day ends you will head to your lodge for meals and overnight.
After enjoying your tasty breakfast at your lodge, you will set up on a scenic drive towards the Ngorongoro conservation Area. On this day you will have an opportunity to descend to the crater floor, a unique ecosystem that supports an incredible array of wildlife. As you descend you will be amazed by the breathtaking views of the surrounding highlands and the shimmering lake at the center of the crater. Once on the crater floor, you will embark on an unforgettable game drive, where you will have the opportunity to witness the incredible diversity of floral and faunal components, our knowledgeable guide will share with you fascinating facts about their behavior and habitat. Later in the afternoon after a picnic lunch you will make your way to the Kilimanjaro International Airport with unforgettable memories of Tarangire and Ngorongoro Crater.
