Day to Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania

You will be met by your guide, who will give you a briefing on your forthcoming trip and check your equipment to make sure you have all the appropriate mountain gear, this will be after your pick up at the Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer  to your hotel in Moshi town. On this day,  if you have any missing equipment it  can be .

Day 2: Machame Gate (1790m) to Machame Camp (3010m)

It takes around an hour to get from Moshi to the Machame gate, where we will sign in with the park, meet our porter team, and begin the climb! The first section of the climb steadily ascends and passes through a beautiful, densely forested area. Given that this path is rarely used, it can become rather overgrown in some places and is frequently muddy and damp to the touch.

Day 3: Machame Camp (3010m) to Shira Camp (3845m)

Wake up to a hot breakfast provided by your dedicated team. Today’s hike begins with a gentle ascent that provides breathtaking views of Mount Meru and the broad plains below. As you ascend, the terrain changes, shifting into a moorland zone marked by heather and unusual alpine plan. When you arrive at Shira Camp, you’ll be greeted by the breathtaking Shira Plateau. The campsite offers a spectacular panoramic view of the mountain, making it a great place to unwind, rest, and prepare for the trek ahead. Wake up to a hot breakfast provided by your dedicated team. Day 4: Shira Cave (3845m) to Barranco Camp (3960m)

This thrilling walk will take you through a variety of environments, including the enormous Shira Plateau and lush rainforests alive with rare flora and fauna. Admire the breathtaking panorama of the Great Barranco Wall as you ascend its difficult but rewarding ascent. Throughout this breathtaking adventure, experienced experts will accompany you, assuring your safety and delivering fascinating information about the surrounding natural treasures.

Day 5: Barranco Camp (3960m) to Barafu Camp (4640m)

We start the day by heading down into the Great Barranco, a large valley. As we leave, we ascend the Great Barranco Wall, which separates us from the southeast slopes of Kibo. It’s a long and strenuous climb over rock, but it’s not extremely difficult. The Karanga valley, which we approach by going beneath the Heim and Kersten glaciers, is our final option to collect fresh water before the summit. Scree now dominates the terrain as we travel across arid and desolate area towards Barafu camp.

Day 6: Barafu Camp (4640m) to Uhuru Peak (5895m) & down to Millennium Camp (3790m)

We will begin our tough journey to the peak glaciers at around midnight. We’ll spend 4 to 5 hours ascending scree but only traverse a short distance to reach amazing heights. The view here will be spectacular. As the sun rises, we will be at Stella Point (5739m) on the crater rim. We will be encircled by beautiful ice cliffs inside the crater and enjoy breathtaking views of the jagged Mawenzi mountain and beyond. We must trek for an extra hour to reach the summit, Uhuru Peak (5895m). After leaving Stella Point, we will begin our descent by returning to Barafu Camp for breakfast before proceeding to Millennium Camp for a well-deserved rest.

Day 7: Trek Millennium Camp (3790m) to Mweka Gate (1630m)

We will take a slow descent through the rain forest to the Mweka Gate, where we will complete park requirements and receive certificates to proudly display! When we return to the hotel in Moshi, you can enjoy a warm welcome shower.

Day 8: Flight To Zanzibar

After enjoying a delicious breakfast at your lodge, you will leave the Lodge for Arusha Airport for your domestic flight to Zanzibar, an Island with pristine white sand beaches, crystal clear turquoise waters, and rich cultural heritage. You will have your Meals and overnight your lodge.

Days 9 & Day 10: Relaxing At Zanzibar Beaches

After a delicious breakfast from your hotel, you will have a relaxing day. If you are in the mood for a little pampering. Your hotel has a spa where you can relax and rejuvenate. In the evening you will have your delicious meals and overnight at the hotel.

Day 11: Stone Town And Spice Tour

After a delicious breakfast at your lodge, you will begin your Stone town tour. You will explore the winding streets and marvel at the impressive architecture, and visit landmarks such as the House of Wonders, the Old Fort, and the Forodhani Gardens. You will also have a spice tour. Zanzibar island is famous for spices, including cloves, nutmeg, Cinnamon, and black pepper. During the spice tour, visitors can see the spices growing in their natural environment, learn about their medicinal and culinary uses, and even sample some of the fresh produce. In the evening you will head to your lodge for meals and overnight
