At Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be welcomed by your wild Hut Safari guide, who will give you briefing you on your forthcoming trip and check your equipment to ensure you have all the necessary mountain gear; any missing equipment can be rented for you. You will then be driven to your hotel in Moshi town.
After an early breakfast at your lodge, you will quickly cross the timberline and enter the heath and moor zone after leaving the Mandara Hut. The Horombo Hut, which is located at a height of 3700 meters, will become visible 4 to 6 hours later. From the hut, you can see Mawenzi, Kibo, and the vast Masai steppe.
After an early breakfast, you will proceed from Mandara Hut to Horombo Hut. The journey involves trekking through diverse landscapes including lush forests, moorlands, and rocky terrain. The hike typically takes several hours with varying levels of difficulty depending on individual fitness and weather conditions. Throughout the route, climbers may encounter unique flora and Fauna, including plant species and occasional wildlife sightings.
After an early breakfast, you will begin your journey to Kibo hut. The trek involves ascending through the alpine terrain, crossing the saddle between Mawenzi and Kibo peaks. The duration of the hike will depend on the group’s pace, but it typically takes around 6-7 hours to reach Kibo Hut. This Hut serves as the resting point before the final Pushto the summit, Uhuru Peak, which usually takes place in the early hours of the following day.
The Big Day” – the summit stage – is today. Around midnight, your long and exhausting final ascent will start. The journey involves a challenging ascent through the steep and rugged terrain of the mountain which requires endurance and determination, The ascent will continue upward after passing the Hans Meyer Cave at 5220m. You will arrive at Gillman’s Point (5681m), the crater rim of Kilimanjaro, at sunrise, where the light will begin to gradually warm the ground. You will soon forget the night’s chill, and after another hour or two of hiking, you will reach Uhuru Peak at 5895 meters. After a short rest and celebration, you will get back to Kibo Hut, where a hot supper breakfast will be waiting for you, after that you’ll take a one- to two-hour break before returning to Horombo Hut.
The journey from Horombo Hut to Marangu gate is the final leg of the Marangu Route. This section is relatively straight forward and takes around 5 to 6 hours. The trail passes through lush rainforest, offering a different landscape from the ascent. As tourists descend, they will enjoy the scenic beauty and spot various flora and Fauna along the way. Upon reaching Marangu Gate, you will have successfully completed your Kilimanjaro trek and you can celebrate your achievement.
After enjoying your delicious breakfast at your hotel, you will start your exciting adventure by heading out to Arusha national park. Arusha National Park is a beautiful Park with diversity of wildlife, you will have an opportunity to see a variety of unique landscapes, from the peak of Kilimanjaro, the lush rainforest of Mount Meru to the stunning views of Savannah. You will also have a chance to go on a nature walk towards the waterfall with a well-trained and experienced guide. At midday you will have your picnic lunch at a scenic spot within the park. In the afternoon you’ll head to momella lakes, a group of shallow alkaline lakes that are home to a variety of water birds including flamingos and herons. As the sun begins to set, you will make your way back to your lodge for meals and overnight, with memories of an unforgettable day in the beautiful Arusha National Park.
After breakfast at your hotel, you will start your drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park, the drive will take approximately two hours. Once you arrive at Tarangire National Park, you will start your game drive through the stunning landscape, which is dotted with ancient unique baobab trees and swaying savannah grassland. On your journey, you will also have a chance to spot a wide variety of wild animals. After a thrilling morning of exploring Tarangire National Park, you will break for a delicious picnic lunch at a designated picnic site. In the afternoon you will continue with your game drive through the park, searching for more amazing wildlife sightings. As the day ends you will drive to your lodge for meals and overnight.
After enjoying your delicious breakfast at your hotel, you will embark on a thrilling adventure to Lake Manyara National Park. Your journey will begin with a scenic drive through the lush forests and grassy plains where you may encounter various wildlife species. As you continue with your safari, you will arrive at the sparkling shores of Lake Manyara, an amazing water body that is home to a vast array of exotic bird species, including pink flamingos and pelicans. At midday you will take a break for your delicious picnic lunch and afterwards you will venture deeper into the park by visiting the lush groundwater forest, where you can spot a variety of flora and fauna components. As the sun begins to set, you will make your way back to your lodge for meals and overnight.
After breakfast at your lodge, you will start your adventure-filled day to Ngorongoro crater one of the most magnificent natural wonders in Tanzania. On this day you will have an opportunity to descend to the crater floor, a unique ecosystem that supports an incredible array of wildlife. As you descend you will be amazed by the breathtaking views of the surrounding highlands and the shimmering lake at the center of the crater. Once on the crater floor, you will embark on an unforgettable game drive, where you will have the opportunity to witness the incredible diversity of floral and faunal components, our knowledgeable guide will share with you fascinating facts about their behavior and habitat. As the day progresses, you will stop for a picnic lunch overlooking the stunning landscape, surrounded by amazing sounds of nature. As the sun begins to set you will ascend out of the crater, where you will enjoy a spectacular view of the crater in all its glory. You will then head to your lodge for your meals and overnight.
After enjoying a delicious breakfast at your lodge, you will leave the Lodge for Arusha Airport for your domestic flight to Zanzibar, an Island with pristine white sand beaches, crystal clear turquoise waters, and rich cultural heritage. You will have your Meals and overnight your lodge.
After a delicious breakfast at your lodge, you will begin your Stone town tour. You will explore the winding streets and marvel at the impressive architecture, and visit landmarks such as the House of Wonders, the Old Fort, and the Forodhani Gardens. You will also have a spice tour. Zanzibar island is famous for spices, including cloves, nutmeg, Cinnamon, and black pepper. During the spice tour, visitors can see the spices growing in their natural environment, learn about their medicinal and culinary uses, and even sample some of the fresh produce. In the evening you will head to your lodge for meals and overnight.
